Gangani Lands Sales was founded in 1982 by the founder & chairman Mr. K.A.S Premachandra, marking a milestone in the real estate industry. Our journey began with one land development and gradually we became a key player in the real estate sector in Sri Lanka.

It is with great pride that we share the milestones that made our journey beautiful and inspiring. Amidst all the challenges, we have come a long way and made a remarkable progress. Have a look at our significant milestones below.

The business was founded after buying a land from Himbutana in 1980. It was initiated without capital and the land was bought to be paid in installments. Starting with this as our first project, we began our business journey, gradually gaining the trust and support of the community.

The business was registered as Gangani Land Sales and began operations with two employees in a modest office.

In its second major venture, Gangani Land Sales secured 17 acres of land in Kaduwela. This endeavor marked a significant milestone as it involved the development with minimal initial capital and a firm belief in the project’s potential.

Gangani Land Sales made a significant move by establishing a new office. During the period from 1983 to 1993, Gangani Land Sales successfully completed 20 land projects. These projects not only signify the company’s operational success but also highlight its contribution to fulfilling the real estate aspirations of 980 families.

We started purchasing lands from Dehiovita district, marking a strategic expansion of our real estate portfolio. This move demonstrates the company’s proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and diversifying its property holdings.

Our network expanded across the Kaluthara district, indicating a strategic move to broaden our presence within the real estate market. This expansion reflects our commitment to reaching more clients and serving a wider geographical area.

Between 1993 and 2000, we facilitated the acquisition of 4000 plots of land within a brief period of 7 years. This achievement demonstrates our capacity to meet the needs of the clientele efficiently.

We experienced further expansion by acquiring lands from the Gampaha district. This strategic move indicates our continued growth and commitment to exploring new opportunities for expansion and development.

With a strategic expansion plan that involved reaching out to multiple districts, the business experienced significant growth. This expansion was accompanied by the establishment of an experienced service team, leading to a notable increase in the number of employees, which rose to 60.

During this period, the company acquired 30 projects for sale. This initiative reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding its real estate portfolio and catering to the evolving needs of property buyers.

A significant milestone was reached in 2020 with the laying of the foundation stone to commence an apartment project. This marked the beginning of a new phase for the business, as it ventured into the development of apartment complexes.
